Health Benefits of Walnuts
Nuts are a fantastic food to incorporate into your diet because they are a great source of protein and also contain healthy fat to keep your body full and energized. Walnuts also contain omega 3 fatty acids to keep your heart functioning optimally and to reduce inflammation in the body. They have been known to improve your skin’s health and have properties to fight off illness too! How to store Homemade Nut Butter
Once you’ve processed up your nut butter, it’s time to store it. I recommend keeping your nut butter in an airtight container or small jar in the fridge. It will last up to about one month in the fridge, maybe longer, so make sure to label it with the date! You can also freeze nut butter and it will last up to 3 months in the freezer.
