The flavor in this seasoning packs a punch, it has no strange ingredients, and it’s SO versatile. It’s also really easy to make, store and use, so you really can’t go wrong with it!

Spice mixes are so handy to have in the pantry, and making your own will save you a trip to the store as well as money! Buying and mixing your own spices to create the perfect blend is also a good idea because you can tweak the ingredients to your liking! Add a dash extra of this, leave out that, it’s all up to you. You are going to love mixing up a jar of this spice blend, it’s going to be your go-to whole30 seasonings!

To create this spice blend, I used a handful of spices from my pantry and NO other additives. Here’s what you’ll need to make it:
- Chili Powder
- Garlic Powder
- Cumin
- Oregano Flakes
- Paprika
- Onion Powder

- Black Pepper

Making a batch of this paleo taco seasoning has to be the easiest recipe of all time. All you need to do is place all the spices in a bowl and stir them to combine. That’s it! Season to taste on all the foods you desire and enjoy!

This is one of those seasonings that is SO versatile and will add flavor and Mexican flair to so many dishes, whole30 or not! How to store Homemade Seasoning
Once you’ve mixed all your spices up in a bowl and your seasoning is ready to store, it’s time to pour it into an airtight container. I recommend storing it in a small mason jar or something similar, so that you can see what’s inside! It will last up to 6 months at room temperature in your pantry this way.

To make this taco spice blend, I used a combination of chili powder, garlic powder, cumin, paprika, oregano, onion powder, salt and pepper!
How much Taco Seasoning per pound of meat?
I recommend using about 1.5 tablespoons to season each pound of ground meat you use!
What is the difference between taco and fajita seasoning?
The main difference is the quantities of each spice ingredient. In my fajita seasoning, I also add red pepper flakes and some sugar for a tad of sweetness.
